It seems I'm what is known as a 'Slow Blogger' (I would have said 'Idle Blogger, but that's not the official term!) because I don't 'blog' very often.
Why is that? Is it because my life is a frenetic whirl of interesting events and social commitments? Or because I travel almost non-stop, pausing between trips to fabulous destinations only long enough to re-pack my suitcase? Maybe work is so absorbing I can't stop?

Well, the answer is none of the above. I'm just a bit lazy, is the truth (Oh all right, you knew that already, aren't you the clever one). Sadly, the grey cells have become more of a rust colour.
However, I'm going to try harder. No, really, I am, I promise.

So please stick with me!

And while I get myself a bit more 'in gear' by administering a swift kick up my own backside (now there's a vision that should entertain you) here's some more photos taken last year (2008) from around where I live on the South coast of Britain.

Here's the beach at Boscombe (above), looking towards Bournemouth. I think this was the only sunny day of the summer. Look at those brave souls in the chilly water. They're all mad.

I forgot, there were actually 2 sunny days this year and this was taken at one of my favourite places to go for a walk, Hengistbury Head. It was an Iron Age settlement and port and is now a nature reserve. Love it.

See the storm clouds gathering?

These beach huts cost more than most houses- they're over £200,000. That's if you can find one for sale. And they don't even have running water! But they are in a lovely place at the far end of the Head, in a protected area. It's the old story; location, location, location.

And this was how the day ended. Hailstones the size of baseballs (I may be exaggerating just a tad, there) and ankle deep water. Only nice if you fancy a paddle. But at least the car got washed for once.

Thoroughly entertaining read.
Pictures were good tho too small to really see anything but that's not your fault. Is it?
Keep it up, as the actress said to the Bishop, and we'll visit another time.

Glad you liked it- I think if you click on the photos, they'll come up screen-sized.
