Did you know today is Ferris Wheel day in the U.S.? It's in celebration of George Washington Gale Ferris Jr. birthday. He was a civil engineeer who invented the world's first Ferris wheel for the World's Colombian Exhibition in Chicago, 1893.
Given my fascination with all things to do with fairs, I couldn't leave that out.

No, I did not know that. As you know, I love learning new things every day. I enjoy playing Trivia so that I can use some of the little snippets of information that my mind stores up.
