Feeding the Angels
In the UK, pigeons are regarded by many (not me) as a pest. Sometimes, people call them 'flying rats'. They're not; they're birds. And in Istanbul, people buy packets of food for 2 Lira for the pigeons (the woman on the left is selling the food, the man on the right has bought some). It's known as 'Feeding the Angels' because when you feed a pigeon, it's believed you feed an angel. I like that much better.
