Hagia Sophia.

I've written about nearly everything I saw in Istanbul- but not the place that awed me the most- Hagia Sophia. That's because whatever I write seems inadequate, as do the photographs. So I'll just say this; it's the most amazing place I've ever been.

This last photo (below) might give you an idea of how big Hagai Sophia is; Notre Dame would fit inside, as would the Statue of Liberty, minus her torch. It's massive. And beautiful. And I hope you get to see it yourself.

Wow!
Hagai Sophia is not just huge but beautiful. You've done well to capture what you could.
Looking forward to your posts from your upcoming trip this Fall

Thanks, yes I did have a great time- the whole trip was one of the best things I've ever done. Really.
In fact, despite having already written nearly a whole book about it on here, I still have more to post!
Some people just can't shut up ;-)
