Here's the walk down to the beach (below)- the tide was out when I took this photo, but when it's in, the beach is inaccessible.
And if you don't get out in time, wet feet are going to be the least of your problems.

Now why is the picnic table on the OTHER side of the barrier and Danger sign? Maybe it adds a little spice to lunch? Eh?
