| The Oyster catcher is one of my favourite birds. After all the storms here on the South coast, there are thousands of slipper limpets washed up on the shore- an easy meal for these beautiful, striking creatures. |

| As you can see from the waves, the effects of the storms are still being felt. |

| Oyster catchers are usually very shy, but I was able to get quite close to them this time - I think maybe because they've eaten too much; not that I can say very much about that! |
