We stopped at this huge covered market on the way to Ayvalik. It was unseasonably chilly- in fact it was chuffing cold.
The produce was wonderful, varied and fresh. Cheap, too. And there was lots of dried fruit and spices for sale.
What's in the Pantry? Some sweet memories, a few vinegary observations, a couple of crusty comments and several pounds of lard (it's that diet again). And if all those words are too much, there's lots of pretty pictures.

Did you find out what the dough was used for?
The dough- good question. I'm not for sure, but I think it's used as filo pastry is used. I saw a couple of people who bought big bags of it, so I assume it doesn't dry out like filo does.
