This was the production of Turandot that we went to see on John's birthday. It was spectacular. The stage set is a masterpiece by Zeffirelli. |
My camera has a great zoom on it; so even though we were sitting in the 'nose-bleed' seats, I was able to capture the musicians before the performance. |
This was Aida. The staging is the same one they used in 1913, probably not the exact same costumes though. Definitely not the same performers. Not so sure about some of the audience though.... |
Tosca. love the opera. Hated the set. How hard would it have been to build a set like a Church, instead of some monster (possibly supposed to be Tosca) with a sword? Tsk. |
